ClubZap integration/synchronisation with Foireann

Details on how to synchronise your ClubZap membership management system with the Foireann registration system.

Synchronising ClubZap and Foireann is a simple 3 step process - all 3 steps should be completed every time you want to renew members or register new members on Foireann.

  1. Step 1: Export your existing member list from Foireann and import into ClubZap

    Task: Synchronise Foireann Member IDs with membership profiles on ClubZap

    Reason: This will help to prevent duplicate members being registered on Foireann.

    Output File: members.csv

    Input File: members.csv

  2. Step 2: Export your ClubZap paid up members profiles and Import into Foireann

    Task: Register your members who have paid via ClubZap on the Foireann registration system.

    Reason: All members who pay membership should be registered on the Governing body database.

    Input File: members.csv

    Output File: GAA-Foireann-Express-xxxx.csv

  3. Step 3: Import the results file produced by Foireann into ClubZap to complete the synchronization process.

    Task: Register your members who have paid via ClubZap on the Foireann registration system.

    Reason: All members who pay membership should be registered on the Governing body database.

ClubZap <-> Foireann Synchronisation Flow


Import File Status

The import of the members.csv file into ClubZap from Foireann will provide you with information regarding your data import:

MATCHED: These members have been updated with a Valid Foireann ID on ClubZap.

UNMATCHED: Unmatched members can occur for two reasons.

1. Member is not yet registered for the current season;

2. Some member details may have changed since last season.

DUPLICATES: Duplicates still exist on Foireann system.

SKIPPED: These members do not have a valid Foireann ID. If a member is missing their ID

and/or Membership Number, then it is likely they have not been verified on

Foireann. Login to Foireann and ensure the member is verified - this is

denoted by a small blue shield icon (with a tick) on their profile avatar in the

Membership section.
