How can I move members across membership seasons?

Admins can now Move Memberships from the previous season to the current or upcoming membership season.

Admins can now Move Memberships from the previous season to the current or upcoming membership season.

What cases can I move a membership form season to season?

  1. Memberships paid before the season has been kicked off to be moved to the correct year. e.g.: a person who goes in and pays for membership before the new season is rolled over so rather than having to refund them and get them to pay again in the correct season you can move them to the new season (Note: Ensure the pricing is the same for the new season or they may have under/overpaid).

  2. Renewals that weren’t taken up in the previous season to be activated for the current season. e.g.: Someone who was a member previously but who did not renew this year would not be automatically moved to the new season. These can now be manually moved.

Actions

  1. On the ClubZap Admin portal go to Membership -> Membership Sales and select the season you wish to move the membership from (Seasons are listed as tabs at the top of the page)

  2. Search for the membership you want to move (this is normally the payers name (i.e: Parent/Guardian.)

  3. Click on the Membership name to view the membership.

  4. On the top right click on the ... to view the profile menu and select Move Season

5. You are then prompted to confirm you want to move that member from the selected season to the current membership season. Select Move to confirm

Note: if a membership is eligible to be moved to the current season then it will appear in the actions menu on the membership details page - ‘…’ in the menu

If a membership is moved form one season to another it will no longer exist in the old season.
