A club administrator can change the member type associated with a member. This can include adjustments within the same membership package or switching between categories with differing fees using a refund-and-reenrollment process.
This might be cases where a person signed up as a social member instead of a coach for example. Another example might be a member who initially enrolled in a 'Nursery' membership but needs to transition to 'Juvenile' due to evolving requirements.
Note: If there is a change in pricing between membership categories, you can issue a refund for the original category and re-enroll the member under the new category. Be sure to add a note on the membership record to document the reason for the change.
Login to the ClubZap admin portal
Go to Membership -> Membership Sales
Search for the membership sale you wish to edit
Click on the name and select Edit at the bottom of the page
Update the member type accordingly by selecting the new member type in the dropdown list.
Add a Note to explain the reason for the change for future reference via the notes section at the bottom of the page.
Save your changes.
For changes involving differing fee structures, initiate a refund for the original membership payment and re-enroll the member under the new category.
