NOTE: You must have created the product first and saved it as detailed here Only then can you add custom fields to gather more specific information (e.g.: Initials, Gear Size, Address etc.) If you require complex custom fields that cannot be added through the admin portal, contact ClubZap support for assistance. Examples include fields like Child's Name, Child's Date of Birth, or Parent's Email Address.
Adding Custom Fields
Provided you have the required admin access for managing products you can add custom fields to products you have created.
You can either add and manage these fields yourself using the Admin portal or seek assistance from the ClubZap support team for more complex requirements.
Login to the ClubZap Admin portal via clubzap.com/signin
Select the Products -> Products on the left hand menu.
From the Current Live Products List, click on the Product Name you want to add custom fields for. Note: Avoid using the Edit button on the right of the product, as this does not permit editing custom fields.
In the Custom Fields section Add Field.
5. Select the field type you wish to add
6. Assign a Field Label to your custom field. (e.g.: Jersey Size)
7. Select the Field type from the available list as follows:
Single Line Text
Multi Line Text
Dropdown
Checkbox
Multiselect
Radio Buttons
Policy Acceptance
Date Select
8. If the custom field is a mandatory field on your form check the box identified above by - Is this a required input field?

Tips For Effective Management
Clearly outline the additional information you need from users when defining custom fields. This will streamline data collection and improve the product’s usability.
Ensure proper data formats (e.g., correct date formats) to avoid input errors.
Regularly check the product details to confirm that all custom field additions are functioning as intended.
How to Edit or Delete a Custom Field
Select the Products -> Products Link on the left hand menu.
On the Product Name column click on the name of the product you wish to customise.
On the Required field section click on Edit Field or Delete.
How to Reorder your custom fields
Once you have added your custom fields you can reorder at any stage to alter how they appear on the product form.
Select the Products -> Products Link on the left hand menu.
On the Product Name column click on the name of the product you wish to customise.
In the required Fields section you will see a list of the custom fields you previously created. Click and hold the left click your mouse and drag the custom field you want to move up or down the list.
How to order your dropdown list alphabetically
When you add a new Custom field and select the Field Input Type as Dropdown there is an option for you to order your options alphabetically by selecting the checkbox.
