In cases where a parent has added a child's name to a group who is not part of the group you can remove this child as detailed <a href="#h_12c5a69f7f">here</a>. A child name can only be removed provided their is another child associated with that parent in the group. If its a parent with one child then the solution is to remove the parent from the group as detailed <a href="https://help.clubzap.com/en/articles/4201559-adding-removing-members-to-from-a-group">here</a>.

If its a case that a duplicate of the child's name exists in the group you can merge the child names as detailed <a href="https://help.clubzap.com/en/articles/5179318-how-to-merge-multiple-parents-guardians-to-a-single-child-in-a-chat-group-or-edit-a-child-name">here</a>.

Chat Group Admin: How to add/edit/remove a child from your chat group

Go to the Chat tab and click on the group you want to update

Click on the Group Settings icon on the top right of the screen to open the Group Info screen.

Scroll down to find the name of the Parent who's child you wish to remove and click on the parents name.

Click on the Set Role link top open the update screen

1. + Add Another Child: will allow you to add another child to your profile
2. Click on the edit box for the name to update the first and last name of your child
3. Remove will allow you to delete your child's name

Click Done to save your changes.

2. Go to the Chat tab and click on the group you want to update
