How to add/edit/remove Children from a chat group?

Group Admins and Parents can update children names.

In cases where a parent has added a child's name to a group who is not part of the group you can remove this child as detailed here. A child name can only be removed provided their is another child associated with that parent in the group. If its a parent with one child then the solution is to remove the parent from the group as detailed here.

If its a case that a duplicate of the child's name exists in the group you can merge the child names as detailed here.

Chat Group Admin: How to add/edit/remove a child from your chat group

  1. Open the ClubZap app

  2. Go to the Chat tab and click on the group you want to update

  3. Click on the Group Settings icon on the top right of the screen to open the Group Info screen.

  4. Scroll down to find the name of the Parent who's child you wish to remove and click on the parents name.

  5. Click on the Set Role link top open the update screen

  6. The following options are available

    1. + Add Another Child: will allow you to add another child to your profile

    2. Click on the edit box for the name to update the first and last name of your child

    3. Remove will allow you to delete your child's name

  7. Click Done to save your changes.

  1. Open the ClubZap app

  2. Go to the Chat tab and click on the group you want to update

  3. Click on the Group Settings icon on the top right of the screen to open the Group Info screen.

  4. Click on the link for Your Children

  5. The following options are available

    1. + will allow you to add another child to your profile

    2. Edit will let you update the first and last name of your child

    3. Remove will allow you to delete your child's name
