What content can be managed via my mobile device?
A mobile friendly version of the admin portal is available for accessing all the menus for managing ClubZap for your club.
Most recently (May 2024) the news editor has been updated to allow admins add news content, links and images via their mobile device.
The menu icon in the top right of the screen below will expand when tapped to display all the menu items including the news editor.
Tip
Add a bookmark for clubzap.com/signin on your phone to simplify the process for accessing the admin portal and publish your content from there.
What content can be updated using the app?
Provide you have app admin access you can manage fixtures, results, events and setup chat groups via the app.
Create/Update Fixtures/Schedules and Events
Open your app Click on the menu by selecting the + icon
Select Add schedule
Complete the form - for an explanation on each field visit the Add Fixture section here.
Create/Update Results
Click on the menu by selecting the + icon
Select Add Result and you are presented with a choice to
create a result for a previously configured fixture or
create a new event and add the result in one step.
Update a result for a past fixture
Select the corresponding fixture from the list.
Fill in the Home Score (your club) , Opponent Score and Status (Win, Draw, Loss)
If you wish to post to social media also select the appropriate check boxes. (You can edit the social media posts using the Edit link).
Creating a new event and result
Click on the menu by selecting the + icon
Select Add Result followed by Add new even
Complete the form - Details on fields can be seen here in the Add fixture section.
Notifications
Notifications are now automatically generated for results via the ClubZap Content Delivery Engine.
