Create a Poll
Open your ClubZap app and go to your Chat Group
Click on the + icon and select Poll
Under Ask a question, enter the question you want to ask your group. Poll questions are limited to 255 characters.
Under Poll Options, enter up to 12 poll options. Poll options are limited to 100 characters.
Users can vote for a single option on polls by default. To allow to vote for more than one option, turn on Allow multiple answers.
Click Send Poll to complete the process and send the poll to all members of your chat group.
Respond to a poll
To respond to a poll, click the option, or options, you want to vote for.
To remove your vote for an option, click the option you selected previously.
Note: If the creator of the poll has turned off multiple answers, clicking an option will deselect any options that you previously clicked.
View Poll Responses
To view the results of an active poll, including the number of members who have voted:
Open the chat group with the poll you want to view.
Locate the poll, then click View Votes.

Who can create Polls?
Any Chat Group Administrator can create a Pol on ClubZap. Details on how to make a member of a chat group an administrator here
Are Polls sent to all members of a group?
Yes - all members of a chat group will receive the Poll with the option to respond.
Do ClubZap Polls support multiple answers per responder?
Yes, when creating a new Poll by default its one answer per responder but you do have the option to enable multiple responses when setting up a Poll.
Who can See Poll Results?
Poll Results will be visible to all members of a chat group.
Do Polls Expire to stop responses after a certain time?
Polls do not currently expire.
If a user joins a chat group after the Poll is created can they see the Poll and respond?
Yes - when a user joins a chat group they will see all the historic messages sent to that were sent to members of the group including events, chats and polls. They will not see Events that were sent to a sub group if they are not part of that sub group.
Do I need to update my app to create Polls and view Polls?
Yes, ensure you are on the latest ClubZap app release in order to be able to use the Poll feature. This applies to both Chat group admins who wish to create polls and to your chat group members who want to be able to respond to polls. If your group members are on an app version that does not support polls they will see the following message when a poll is created.

Is a push notification sent when a Poll is created?
Yes, a push notification is sent to all members of the chat group when a poll is created.
Note: If your are not receiving push notifications when Polls, messages or events are sent in your chat group ensure you have notifications enabled as detailed here.
