Does ClubZap provide DNS Management and Email hosting?

Updated this week

ClubZap provides DNS management for a clubs domain (e.g: example.com). DNS management is the process of overseeing and configuring a domain's Domain Name System (DNS) records to ensure website and email services function correctly. It acts as the internet's phonebook, translating human-readable domain names (e.g., example.com) into numerical IP addresses.

While ClubZap can manage DNS records for emails to ensure emails are routed correctly on a domain name it does not provide Email hosting services -

Some examples of platforms providing email hosting are

  • Google Mail

  • Office 365

  • Blacknight

  • etc.

Once you have selected your email hosting service they will provide you with the following records which our support team can add to our DNS servers to ensure your email gets sent and routed correctly to the recipient.

Essential DNS records for email include MX (routes incoming mail), SPF (authorizes sending IP addresses), and DKIM (signs emails for authenticity) to ensure delivery and security. A DMARC record is also recommended to instruct receivers on how to handle failed messages. These prevent spoofing and improve reputation.
