Adding a new group member
Open the chat tab on the app and select the group you wish to manage.
Click on the settings button identified by 3 horizontal dots in the top right and select Group Info.
Click on the add user button in the top right of the screen identified by:
4. If you are not currently providing access to your phone contacts you will be prompted to give ClubZap access to your phone book. This is to allow you to invite non app users to download the app and join your group Invites sent to users in your phone book are sent via SMS.
5. Enter a user’s name or mobile number - select the checkbox opposite the name to include them in the group. Users who have the ClubZap already installed are identified by the ClubZap logo beside their name while phone contacts are identified by a profile icon.
6. Select Done when you have finished which will result in new group members receiving a notification to say they are now a member of that group.
Remove group access
Open the chat tab on the app and select the group you wish to manage.
Click on the settings button identified by 3 horizontal dots in the top right.
Select the Group Info option
In the Members list click on the user and select Remove User Name
Allow ClubZap access to your phone contacts
By providing access to your phone contacts, you as a group admin can
invite users who do not have the app installed to join your group or
invite users who have the app installed but may not follow your club to install the app and/or subscribe to your club and join your chat group.
When you are adding people to your chat group as detailed above you will be presented with the following request:
If you select Allow you are giving permission for the ClubZap app to access your contacts.
Note: Remember the icon opposite the names show which contacts have the app installed (ClubZap logo) and which names are from your phone contacts.
Remove access to your phone contacts for ClubZap
You can enable or disable access to your Phone Contacts for ClubZap and all other applications as follows:
In your Phone Settings, Select Apps
Select ClubZap which displays the App Info
Select the Contacts section and manage the permissions
