Creating new group

Provided you have adequate privileges on chat you can create new groups as follows:

  1. Open the app and go to the chat tab
  2. Click on the chat button represented by a bubble in the bottom right of screen.
  3. Select you club from the list.
  4. Click on the New Group button and fill in the following information
  • Title - Name of the group you are creating. e.g: U14 Football Parents
  • Purpose - Reason for this group. e.g: Communicating with parents regarding training and matches.
  • Group Type - Private (members request to join), Team (mapped to a particular team in the club and members must request to join), Public (Open group anyone can join).
  • Can Chat - Defines whether chat group is 1 way or 2 way. This feature can be enabled/disabled at any stage by the admin.

     5. Click on Next to start adding members to the group.
     6. Enter a users name or mobile number search for their profile and select add to           include them in the group.
     7. Once all users are added click on Create to complete the setup.

Creating a new text message

  1. Open the app and go to the chat tab
  2. Click on the group you wish to send a message to.
  3. If you wish to send a text message simply type your text in the message box a the bottom  of the screen and press the submit button represented by a blue arrow on right hand side.

Creating a new Event

  1. Open the app and go to the chat tab
  2. Click on the group you wish to send a message to.
  3. Click on the calendar icon at the bottom of the screen and fill in the form with event info:
  • Title: Name of the upcoming event. (e.g: U14 Tournament)
  • Details: Description about the event. (e.g: 4 team tournament for all out U14 year old boys)
  • Start Date
  • Start Time
  • Venue

By default the answer options are Yes and No but you can add your own customisations here via the Add an option. e.g: Need a lift

The event can be edited at any stage and as well as receiving notifications on all responses you can also see who has responded via the View all responses link on the event.
You can resend the message to those who have not responded yet in the View Responses window.
