View Group Chat Members
This option is available to both Chat admins and regular chat members.
For security reasons and data protection group member contact information (i.e: phone numbers) will be masked out in the following format: xxxxxx1234
Open the Chat tab on the app and select the group you wish to view.
Click on the title bar containing the group name which will display:
Group Name | Creator | Creation Date | Admin List | Member List
Edit Group Name and Purpose
This option is available to group admins only.
Open the app and go to the chat tab.
Click on the chat group you want to update.
Click on the settings button identified by 3 horizontal dots in the top right.
Select the Group Info option.
Click on the pen icon to open the edit page.
Title - Name of the group you are creating. e.g: U14 Football Parents
Purpose - Reason for this group. e.g: Communicating with parents regarding training and matches.
Group Type – Team
Team – Select from a preconfigured list
Can Chat - Defines whether chat group is 1 way or 2 way. This feature can be enabled/disabled at any stage by the admin. Normally for team communication can chat is off.
Then select submit changes.
Enable or Disable Group Chat
When an admin creates a new group he can define whether 2 way chat is enabled n that particular group. If chat is enabled it means all members of the group (i.e: regular members) can respond to events and send text messages.
To change this a group admin can:
Open the Chat tab on the app and select the group you wish to view.
Click on the settings button identified by 3 horizontal dots.
Toggle the Allow Group Chat button to enable or disable chat.
Note: When its green it means chat is enabled, when its grey it means disabled so only admins can send messages to users.
